Although I do not want this blog to turn into a deals-finding blog, I am, by nature, very frugal. I enjoy getting a great deal on the things I would buy anyway. So, when I found the All You Grocery Challenge was running this summer, I was so excited. "What is this strange idea?" you ask. Well, here are the details:
- The challenge starts June 20th and runs for 4 weeks.
- The purpose of the challenge is to help you stay on top of your grocery spending by allotting $25.00 per person in your household per week for food expenses.
So, I will be participating and keeping updates right here on this little blog. This will include any really great tips on savings I get (including local store deals). Anybody up for doing the challenge with me? Check it out here, sign up and leave me a comment saying you are in!

I TOTALLY want to do this! I just went to Trader Joe's yesterday with the goal of spending $50 and I spent $49.43!!!! I am so doing this!
Yea! I have a parnter in crime (or in do-good budgeting)!
I would love to join in, however my husband and I are completely devoted to organic eating right now as we are trying to get pregnant. I'm pretty sure $25.00 would leave me eating egg sandwiches for a week, with the odd mango thrown in for good measure.
I will however cheer from the sidelines. woot woot!
PeachyTO, It is possible to do the organic thing on a budget. There are lots of coupons out there that cater to organic foodies. Good luck on the pregnacy thing...my husband and I are doing the same thing (minus the organic thing).
